Mark is a dedicated and highly skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist with a passion for helping people restore their movement and function. With over 35 years of experience in sports rehabilitation and coaching, and practicing as a physical therapist since 2002, Mark brings a wealth of expertise to his patients at Benewah Community Hospital (BCH), where he has served since 2010.
Mark holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, a Master’s in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. His extensive education is complemented by a range of specialized certifications, including McKenzie MDT Certification, ASTYM Certification, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level 1 and 2, Dry Needling 1 & 2 through Upstream Rehab Institute, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Rock Tape Level 1, and Original Strength Certified Clinician.
As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the McKenzie Institute, Mark stays at the forefront of his field, continuously advancing his skills to provide the best care possible. His love for activity traces back to his days as a Division 1 college football and track athlete, and he remains an avid enthusiast of outdoor pursuits, including Alpine skiing, bicycling, hiking, backpacking, and paddle boarding.
Mark’s holistic approach combines his deep knowledge of movement science with a genuine commitment to empowering his patients to achieve their goals and live active, fulfilling lives.
Average Client: Mark sees patients with a variety of ailments and a variety of ages but with a similar desire to return to their favorite life activities.
