Live in Your Design

Over the last 13 years, I’ve tried several ways of explaining what it means to Press RESET on the body. In the last year or so, I think I’ve finally learned a succinct way. Pressing RESET is nothing more than living in our design.
Everything about our body works better when we live in our design, when we breathe and move in the ways we were born to breathe and move. We think better, we feel better, we move better - we are better.
We were all born with foundational movement templates etched into our nervous system. These templates and the movements they spawned were the ones to establish us, build us, and grow us into becoming amazing, moving, good-feeling, logically creative human beings. And every single time we breathed and moved in our design, we were telling and assuring our brains that we were safe and ready to express our full being potential to the world. Every breath, every glance, every step - moving from our design, reassures the brain (resets the nervous system) and releases our potential to experience and express our strength, fluidity, creativity, compassion, reasoning, and peace. Living in our design is the way for us to thrive.
When we deviate from our design, we don’t breathe how we were born to breathe, and when we don’t move from our birth-given movement templates, we inform the brain that something is just not right. When the brain receives the message that “something is just not right,” the brain doesn’t feel safe, and it will inhibit our ability to fully express ourselves. As a result, we might be weaker, slower, sadder, madder, dumber, narrow-minded, and selfish. We are inhibited from experiencing and expressing our full, vibrant potential when we don't live in our design. Not moving and breathing how we were born to move and breathe is the way for us to merely exist and survive.
We were made to thrive, feel amazing, and experience joy; we do this through living in our design. This is Pressing RESET. Whenever we do it, whenever we engage in our design, we let our brains know “all is well,” and the brain allows us to move towards thriving, instantaneously. It only takes one breath to change everything about you. It only takes one step to lead you towards feeling your best. It only takes holding your head up to experience your true strength. It all happens at the speed of your nervous system, as fast as pressing a reset button.
The human body is truly awesomely and wonderfully made. We can experience that truth by simply living in our design. Press the reset button. Experience and express your full potential.
